Roasting imparts a yummy slightly sweet and smokey taste that makes veggies pretty amazing.

I am always searching for new recipes to try out. When it comes to chicken. Just tried the recipe for these oven baked drumsticks today. YUM!! And SUPER SIMPLE!!👌🏻👏🏻🙌🏻
Question of the day:
Do you know why the meat on chicken legs is dark?🍗 This brings back my passion for all things related to anatomy and kinesiology! Dark meat has more myoglobin proteins. It's the stuff that ships oxygen to the muscle cells. Muscles used more frequently, are darker. Chickens and Turkeys generally have dark colored drumsticks and thighs because they walk around a lot. 🦃
OK, maybe TMI {{too much information!}}😉😳😂But inquiring minds want to know!! Just know this recipe is perfect paired with any vegetable or a side salad.
So here's the recipe:
Preheat oven to 375 degrees (F). Place drumsticks in a baking dish. Drizzle them with olive oil, then sprinkle them with the salt, pepper, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning. Bake for 1 hour.
That's it!! I already have 3 friends interested in my 7-day "MEAL PLANS MADE EASY" group. Comment below if you want to join!!
