In the winter, I could literally eat soup for dinner everyday!! So if you're looking for yummy, healthy, family friendly recipes. Taco Soup is always a crowd pleaser in our home!
Taco Soup
Ground beef, 1 lb
Corn, 1 can (15 oz)
Salsa, 1 cup
Black or kidney beans, 1 can (15 oz)
Taco seasoning, 2 tbsp
Dry Ranch mix, 1 1/2 tbsp
Beef broth, 2 1/2 cups
Optional for topping: Sour cream, shredded cheese, tortilla chips, cilantro.
Fry hamburger, then combine all ingredients in large pot and cook on medium heat 30 min.

Crockpot Stuffed Pepper Soup
1 lb of ground turkey or extra lean beef
1 can tomato sauce
1 can diced tomatoes
1 cup of onion chopped
2 garlic cloves
3 cups of beef broth
1/2 tsp basil
2 tbsp chili powder
1 cup cooked brown rice (optional)
Brown meat, add garlic and onions and mix the rest of ingredients in crockpot. Add meat mixture when cooked and cook on low 4-6 hrs. Add rice the last half hour of cooking.
On 21 day fix count 1.5C = 1 red, 1 green, .5 yellow
